Studies of Anomalies in Mixed Conduction of Na<sub>2</sub>O and V<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> Doped Boro-Phosphate Glasses

A set of borophosphate glasses doped with alkali and transition metal (TM) ions have been synthesized. The were carried through; annealing, XRD, density, DC conductivity studies. Molar volume density varied nonlinearly. High temperature activation energy is analysed taking into consideration Mott’s SPH model. low electrical was by Mott Greaves VRH. Several polaron hopping related parameters at high region states computed. measured conductivity, calculated numerous pertained nonlinearly mole fraction vanadium content. Study exhibits conduction due to both thus confirms the mixed conductivity. crossover mechanism from ionic dominant polaronic predominant has also observed. Studies revealed single effect 0.4 mol V2O5
